Ryan Jablonski & Brigitte Zimmerman leverage experiments on Malawian elected officials to show how officials' knowledge impacts spending allocations. They find that information provided to treatment group politicians reduces inequalities. #APSRFirstView ow.ly/VQ2g50QuZs7

Move to Williamsburg. Study Chinese foreign aid. Work with students. Create new knowledge. Change the world. You know you want to. You'd get to work with Dr. Ammar A. Malik عمار ملک and other smart/fun folks at AidData.

These are legitimately good jobs for newly minted PhDs -- min. of 2 years, teaching load is very reasonable, lots of encouragement to pursue independent research agendas, and folks tend to end up in good permanent posts. And we (Methodology and LSE broadly) are nice!
