Today the very first meeting of a new baby union committee was held. A LGBTQIA+ committee to advocate for safe working conditions for identifying teachers and fair treatment for students. I went, joined and was knighted as co-chair!

I also spoke with the union president about becoming a union rep for my school and was accepted! A fellow committee member has a diabetic cat like Sammie, named Fat Belly. She’s asked me to teach her how to use a BG meter on a cat. 😎
