Future is looking bright. We have 4 new 6th grade boys come out for golf today at practice. Fired up to have them! I remembered one of them from our youth camp! We are building a program and it starts by getting kids out as soon as we can. Go BEARS! #scgolf #GoBears
Boys soccer took care of business in their home opener against Henry County tonight, walking away with a 7-1 victory over the Wildcats. Their next match is Wednesday at Thomas Nelson at 6:30.

Ready for another week of action? Check out the Bears' schedule and come out to support! Keep in mind that the JV girls & boys soccer teams, plus freshman and JV volleyball teams typically play before varsity, so come out early and catch our younger students' games, too!
As we get back into football season, be aware of fake profiles with links to tickets/ streaming services, like in the image. The best way to watch the Bears is in person, but our games are streamed on GHP Sports, and tickets can be bought on GoFan. Don't fall victim to scammers!
Friday night lights are back, y’all! We can’t think of a better way to kick off the home season than with a win over Collins. Despite the win, we hated to see Tanner get injured during the first half. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, and we are hoping for a full recovery!
Recently, Mrs. Sullivan's phlebotomy class has been practicing venipuncture. The mannequins shown simulate real arms and hands, allowing students ample time to hone their sticking techniques before moving on to real patients.
This past week, Mr. Davis' chemistry classes began working on their first lab project, which provided a real-life application of the physical property of density. We love seeing our students engaging with the lessons!
On Friday, we honored our August Bears of the Month, who were nominated for showing Bear PRIDE. Congrats to Andrew Snow, Elijah Cropp, Levi Chesser, Emma Britton, Isaiah Smith, Jake Redmon, Bodie Gibson, Hawley Johnson, Jacob Swartz, Gunnar Quire, Evan Knight, and Kaylyn Butler!
We will be hosting our annual college fair for juniors and seniors on September 18! Students will be able to talk to representatives from many of the area's colleges, universities, and workforce training providers. Any questions about the event can be directed to Mrs. Slaughter.
We were thrilled to have 40 representatives d at our College Fair today! We are so proud of our juniors' and seniors' engagement and curiosity. Multiple representatives mentioned how respectful our students were, and how they asked thoughtful and insightful questions.
