If France were seeing the public sector cuts we're seeing in NZ, there'd probably be massive protests and nigh on general strike. But Kiwis are like "oh well, survive to 25" and "at least we're starting to see green shoots" What is the cause of kiwi reluctance for activism?

Wow our health system is a mess. So over worked and under funded. I’ve been in hospital for 5 days waiting to have gallstones and gallbladder removed and they have been too busy to do it. So now being sent home and go on a waiting list that’s over 9 months time.

Why can't the Govt step in and save Winstone Pulp and Paper.. 🤔 Instead they will be paying at least 200 people the unemployment benefit... It does not make sense. This will totally destroy the Ruapehu region, and that is sad. 😔

No-one should be moved backward or forward in a queue for services just because of who’s in their family tree. Today, as part of ACT's coalition agreement, we've sent a Cabinet circular to all government departments telling them to deliver public services based on need, not race.
