Check out how Armin Nehzat and thanks.dev are the real-life Robin Hoods, helping open source devs get the credit they deserve from huge companies using their code for free to make millions 💪 Capital Brief details it in the article below 👇 capitalbrief.com/article/this-a…

Jeff Wilcox Great to see the competition pickup & companies give back to the community we often take for granted. I wonder who's going to join the movement next? We'd love to help them 🙏 fossfunders.com Chad Whitacre Sentry Frontend Masters 💻✨ @sourcegraph Microsoft

a) Please support Prettier and the rest of the maintainers your company depends on. b) Looks from the replies like some of you are stepping up. 👍 c) Exciting to see projects making it *at all* depending on pay-what-you-want and ~take-what-you-want. Stay strong!

Seems like something Open Source Initiative @[email protected]/thanks.dev/FOSS Funders could offer? But doesn't look like they do. I can imagine orgs like Sentry or Frontend Masters 💻✨ who've been doing good work funding their deps recently would love to be able to show that commitment recognizably.

Sentry On a more personal note, it feels really good to join a company that also happens to be one of the very few *organizations* that sponsor me on GitHub. Sentry currently sponsors *514* people! 🙇 (2/2) buff.ly/4691oXY

Decision made: Cal.com it is. 👍 Book at cal.com/osspledge/intro to learn more about osspledge.com. Major marketing campaign kicks off in October, where are my early adopters at? 😁

I received a few DMs regarding "Sourcegraph went dark," on HN (Hacker News) so I'll respond here and link to it. =) 1. Sourcegraph code search hasn't been an OSI-approved open source project since I started (February 2022). I knew this going in and knew there would be better

We're super excited to announce that we're joining the Open Source Pledge alongside some other really cool companies: keygen.sh/blog/keygen-jo… Come join us.

Keygen is our 10th member company to join the Open Source Pledge since we soft-launched week before last. As part of our major media campaign launching on October 8th, we aim to put ~15 logos on the Nasdaq Tower. Join by September 24 to be considered.
