Tim Walz spent very little time in his speech tonight talking about his time as a politician - in Congress or as governor. Instead, the focus was almost entirely on his time as a teacher and a coach.

Just spoke to Kerry Kennedy about her brother’s endorsement of Trump: “I’m outraged and disgusted by Bobby’s gaudy and obscene embrace of Donald Trump,” she said. “I think if he were alive today my father would have detested almost everything about Donald Trump.”

On why some of her other siblings didn’t sign this statement, Kerry Kennedy told me: “I don’t think you should read anything into it. It was pulled together really quickly, and I have a lot of siblings all over the place.”
