During the first anniversary field visit by Sweden in Zimbabwe 🇸🇪 The Swedish Ambassador together with the First Lady officially commissioned the 7.2km Chawarura piped water scheme after the delegation planted trees at the UNDP Zimbabwe GEF6 funded Chitemamuswe Nursery.

The Utariri Programme Programme is participation in the Elevate SHE Green Conference promoting women in STEM toward climate change adaptation and mitigation. Women are at the centre of both Sweden in Zimbabwe 🇸🇪 and DCA Zimbabwe strategy to addres climate change and building resilient communities.

In March, The Utariri Programme partners hosted the Sweden in Zimbabwe 🇸🇪 Ambassador on the first anniversary field visit in Mbire and Muzarabani. The Ambassador interacted with community members to appreciate challenges ranging from livelihoods to, climate change to human wildlife conflict.
