We've made a brief return trip to Wogan Cavern to conduct a geophysical survey of the cave floor! Variations in electrical resistivity will hopefully allow us to identify areas of historic disturbance and/or bedrock position, aiding our understanding of the structure of the site

In this month's issue of ArchaeologyUK's British Archaeology I set out some of the big challenges our early prehistory faces. The record is at risk and there are still big inequalities in the discipline. Thanks to Prof Cat Jarman FSA💀 for the opportunity and for another great issue of BA.

For the first time we're investigating the deposits along the back wall of Wogan Cavern 🪨🦣 🤞for some intact #Pleistocene deposits and #Palaeolithic Archaeology in this area of the cave (Excavation team for scale!)
