Vladimir Kara-Murza returned to #Russia to fight for #democracy and #HumanRights even after being poisoned twice and knowing the risks.
He's a hero, and after 2 years we need to do more to bring him home. It's time for Department of State to finally declare #VKM as 'wrongfully detained.'
April 11 will mark two years since the wrongful imprisonment of Vladimir Kara-Murza. He must be granted “wrongfully detained” status so the U.S. may use all efforts to free him.
We stand with democracy.
We stand with Vladimir Kara-Murza.

Every day, when we wake up, we seek information. From weather & traffic reports to news of political developments at home & abroad to whether our favorite sports team finally won, we turn to journalists for the information we need for our daily lives.

It’s been a year since WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich was seized by Russia’s security services and falsely accused of espionage. It’s time for this talented journalist and innocent man to come home. My letter on this grim anniversary

If you find yourself held hostage on the other side of the world, you want an employer like The Journal, WilmerHale as your lawyers and Ella Milman, Mikhail and Danielle Gershkovic as your family.

We've seen incredible support for The Wall Street Journal's Evan Gershkovich as industry colleagues read his reporting for 24 hours. One day is a long time. Evan’s work has been silenced for a whole year. #IStandWithEvan
