On August 15th, 2021, Kabul fell to the Taliban's control. Despite severe limitations, the street-art initiative ArtLords-هنرسالار, founded and directed by Omaid Sharifi, continues to champion democratic values, education, and women's rights in Afghanistan by painting vibrant murals.
