In the new KDIGO 2024 Clinical Practice Guideline for CKD, they state, "People who are born preterm, especially if also small for gestational age, are at increased risk for CKD and kidney failure. This is largely related to decreased nephron number." 👏👏👏Neonatal Kidney Collaborative (NKC)
