Influencer marketing is mainly just sourcing the right influencer You can suck at negotiating, outreach, content, etc But if you find an influencer that has built an audience of people that will love your product, you'll have decent ROI Sounds easy but difficult in practice!

I wish more SaaS businesses just had a super simple video demo on their landing page. It’s so much more helpful than reading a page full of buzzwords

Does lookalike targeting still work for anyone? I know its not 2019 anymore but... yikes That's why it's always good to test different audiences

Been using Jumpcut for years and it's EASILY my favorite productivity/utility tool. Don't think I can ever go back to not having a clipboard manager. What's some of your favorites that you use in your daily workflow?

The web development industrial complex has lied to your face: - auth: yes you can do it yourself - scale: yes you can do it yourself - database: yes you can do it yourself - server: yes you can do it yourself And no when your site goes viral you don't need to pay a $20,000 bill

Solo leveling is a such a top tier anime. Anyone got any good recs for others with a similar vibe? myanimelist.net/anime/52299/Or… (Yes anime is one of my guilty pleasures when I’m not working on my startups 😉)

First $1K MRR → WAY harder than the last $80K MRR. I think this is because of a few things: 1. The early days are a constant hustle for feedback and direction. You either have to guess to interview customers. It's A LOT of work. Eventually, feedback floods in naturally

New record 👏🏼104 new subscribers on AutoShorts.ai in a single day. About $4.5k MRR added. The crazy part? I have no idea where they all came from… Analytics say it’s Google Search, but someone must have shouted us out somewhere 🤷‍♂️

I think becoming a father has made me a much more productive Indie Hacker. I have *way* less time, but I find that it forces me to mentally prioritize what I’m going to work on. I end up working more on the most important tasks because I’m giving more thought to it. I also

Back on track with $93K MRR. New features do seem to move the needle. Launched an “art style” selector on AutoShorts.ai when MRR started falling and there was an immediate bounce back which is visible in the graph. I also noticed that publicly announcing new features

At $90K MRR, this is how much it costs to run my solo AI startup (AutoShorts) 👇 I wanted to be fully transparent here, since I often post about revenue but not the flipside. I haven't calculated the expenses in months, so seeing the number is pretty eye-popping... 😳

This faceless AutoShorts.ai video got 310K views. Segmenting high churn customers vs. low churn, it's no surprise that the ones who stay the longest have seen at least one of their videos pop off like this. Find the core metric that keeps your users signing up and get

Fun fact: ✌️ I launched a SaaS in 2020 that was essentially a niche version of AutoShorts.ai for ecommerce. ... It didn't do very well as you can see. Sometimes you just gotta try stuff and see what sticks

Free users cost us ~$13K /month🫣 Those who removed their free plan... how did it go? We currently allow users to create 1 free video before prompting them to upgrade. I believe in the idea of allowing customers a chance to "try before you buy", but I can't think of a way to
