There is madness in the minds of humanity. Dark shadows delving infinitely deep. In those blackest reaches, a writer sleeps and dreams. It is there we make our beds before we dance and sing.

December has been busy. My family and I have been remodeling our home in preparation for moving, and the Winter Blues have made writing hard. I've slowed down a bit, that's for sure, but I'm always thinking of new things to share. What do all of you do when the ink runs dry?

Long into the night was I weary, Mind scrambling, thoughts breaking, Upon that crumbling ledge I stood smiling.

Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing. Then I remember that each day isn't promised, and decide to do my best in whatever weird thing I jump on. Life's short. Might as well have fun while I'm still around, no?

As darkness washes over me, I find myself unable to close my eyes. Thoughts twist and turn, and I dream while awake. The visions I unfurl are many things, but far are they from a lie. In these sleepless states, the waves of creativity I shall never forsake.

It might be a little past midnight, but I still got a bit of writing done. Sure, it's a few hundred words, but it's better than nothing. This is certainly a #writerslife.
