The 74th session of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for Africa (#RC74AFRO) is officially underway in Brazzaville, #Congo. This week, Member States will discuss and take strategic decisions that will shape our efforts towards improving health outcomes in the WHO African Region region.

Congrats to Niger on the launch of malaria vaccination. This is an addition to the malaria control toolbox that will protect children from deadly malaria. For us at WHO African Region, we'll continue to work with partners through our #AMVIRA initiative to support this vaccination effort.
