What an entertaining 2nd half. At 2 each, a draw seemed on the cards, but a 'worldie' finish from Whitton United FC sees them edge the game by the odd goal in 5. A bit harsh on Framlingham Town FC tbh.

A new ground (for me) lined up for tomorrow afternoon with a 1st ever trip down to Lower Road Hullbridge Sports FC for the Essex Senior League clash with Frenford FC

Always nice to visit a new ground - 216 for me. Happy to indulge myself in the well appointed Hullbridge Sports FC clubhouse before kick-off with a pint & a PRINTED matchday programme 🔵⚪️👍

Tuesday's top of the table derby clash between Harwich and Parkeston FC & Stanway Pegasus FC should be a cracking game with both sides in good form. Harwich with only 1 loss in 7 league games. I'm heading for The Oak! ⚫️⚪️

High expectations for tonight's game as 2 in form teams meet in Thurlow Division 1 North. Harwich and Parkeston FC & Stanway Pegasus FC have only 1 league defeat between them. Harwich currently unbeaten league leaders. Cue a 0-0 draw!!!

No further goals in the 2nd half but a flurry of yellow cards & a 2nd red for Stanway Pegasus FC. A disappointing game, which wasn't the greatest advert for football in this division. Still Harwich and Parkeston FC gain a hard fought, literally, win to stay at the top of the table.

Half-time it's 2-0 to Brightlingsea Town FC, the 1st a cracking long range strike from the left fullback. Looks like the home side have too much know how for the youthful visitors.

A spirited Sudbury fightback in the 2nd half. It ends 3-2 to Brightlingsea Town FC, but the visitors were arguably worth a draw given the missed chances towards the end of the game. An entertaining game.

Tomorrow night, a tasty Isthmian North Division local derby. Maldon & Tiptree FC host Brightlingsea Regent FC. Should be a cracker. It's my last game for a short while, hopefully back 'match fit' in a couple of weeks 🤞
