Yesterday I did a wonderful 9.5 mile walk from Dulverton on Exmoor, exploring the Barle Valley. However parts of it were spoiled by the exclusionary nature of much of the route. This is my Right to Roam thread. Thanks to Jon Moses Guy Shrubsole for inspiring it!

Both Journal of Experimental Biology and Srinivasan have admitted to the many occurrences of duplicated data in his JEB papers (see two examples below). However, according to them, admitting the problem and then saying “original data, analyses and figure plots are not available” is a “correction."
According to Srinivasan et al and Journal of Experimental Biology, readers can rest assured that the instances of identical data reported for different experiments “do not alter the overall results and conclusions of the paper” - even though the conclusions were based on the data that is missing.
