Andrea Pomaranski finished 6th overall and 1st in the 40+ age group at the Two Oceans Marathon in Capetown South Africa, with a time of 3:44 for 56k (35 miles). One of the highest placing Americans in race history. Thanks to the Nedbank Running Club for hosting.

Lots of fast 5,000m running at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Alabama's Hilda Olemomoi led the way in 15:06.42, which makes her the second-fastest collegian ever outdoors, behind only Katelyn Tuohy.

Elise Cranny just ran her first race of the year—a 2:02.90 800m at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

Michaela Rose was leading the Bryan Clay 800m by enough that FloTrack thought a split screen was warranted 😂

Michaela Rose dominated the 800m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, winning in 1:58.37, a PR by 0.71 seconds. In the NCAA, only Athing Mu has run faster. Rose says she's been working on her closing speed. She'll run the 1500m tomorrow.

Anna Camp Bennett finished second in 2:01.14.

Kudos to anyone working the Bryan Clay Invitational this weekend. The 10,000m races went until about midnight last night, and then they started up again, with more 10,000s, at 7:00 a.m.

Today and tomorrow will be even longer days.
