Scoutabout is an extraordinary event that only happens once every three years – 5,000 Scouts and Guides aged between 10 and 14 from all over Surrey participating in a weekend of fun, learning and activities. Here’s a taster of what they got up to.

Name our new Squirrel Scout Drey starting Sept for children aged 4 to 6. Submit your suggestion to [email protected] by Wed 31 July. The name should reflect the unique heritage of the Fetcham area. Winning name will be announced at the beginning of the new term.

Cub Packs enjoyed their end of term program: Downs Pack went on their postponed cycle ride for the final session of term. Centenary Pack enjoyed their raft race at The Splash. Mole Pack finished off the term with some quick domino challenges. [email protected]

Earlier in the summer the Scout Troop enjoyed a week on their camp. Activities included cycling, SUP, kayaking, walking, whittling, peg making, hammocks/tarps and knots, also rifle shooting. Plus lots of food and loads of fun! Want more info? [email protected]
