This week #UKISAR held an exercise called KINVERSTAN 6 in Stourbridge! This exercise included 80 #UKISAR team members and focused on practical deployment exercises for heavy teams, covering Base of Operations build (BoO), demobilization, scenarios, and workshops. #UKISAR

#UKISAR's Kinverstan 6 exercise also featured essential development workshops covering tool and equipment familiarization, logistics, hot cutting, lifting and moving techniques, shoring, SWAH/LACE, and vet first aid awareness for the #UKISAR canine team. #Kinverstan6 #Workshops

We recently came together to celebrate 30 years of UK ISAR and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Services contributions. Fantastic to see so many former members in attendance, including those who helped us establish in Scotland back in 1993. A great event all round.

One of our crew leaders, WC John Aitchison has been recognised with a Pride of Scotland award in recognition of his tireless efforts to assist the people of Nepal and founding the Everest Fire and Rescue Service. Join us in congratulating John on this well deserved award!

Our dog handler Gary Carroll has taken the decision after 18 years of service to UKISAR, 3 ISAR search dogs and 4 international deployments, to stand down from the team. He welcomed dog teams from Essex, Kent , Merseyside & 2 from Lancashire for his last training session.
