Today’s fire in Cannock highlights the need for knowledge on modern building construction and Fire Safety legislation. We cover all building construction, designed and engineered fire safety solutions, and Fire Safety Legislation on our modules.

Preparing a module long case study for the 2nd years. By looking back a historical investigations we will be able to see how far Fire Investigation has come. Our Tutors don’t take it easy. The uni might be on a summer break but they continue to train and assess Senior Officers in Fire Services across the country.

Keeping up to date is paramount. Past and present building techniques and materials. Knowledge is key to safety when it comes to building construction. Recognising materials and construction types allows firefighters to plan how to attack a fire in safety.
