Best movie kill (so far) of 2024.

Part exploitation and part slasher, Jeff Lieberman's JUST BEFORE DAWN (1981) impresses me a little more with each viewing. Boasting some stunning cinematography and a likeable cast, there's a unique charm buried under that clichéd premise that wins me over every time.

Gothic cinema is back.

Why don't we talk about THE FLY II (1989) more? It's gore-tastic!
