It’s a new life for this family of beavers in Scotland who’ve been saved from a potential death sentence.

Dozens had been killed under licence by landowners who believed they were a nuisance but for the first time ever within Scotland, these unwanted animals have been relocated.

We are delighted to be part of the first Beaver translocation project to a private site in Scotland!

A huge thank you to rcampbellpalmer for sourcing and transporting the beaver family to us and to Five Sisters Zoo for their care of the animals during their health screening.

The #CorsDyfi #beaver family is complete! Beaver mum has been successfully trapped, transported, health checked and released into the enclosure at Cors Dyfi. She re-joins her mate & son who arrived a couple of weeks ahead of her. They are all settled and enjoying their new home.
