Is it Hanger or Hangar? When a funding opportunity knocked, Manhattan Regional Airport answered. Eight new hangars will be built later this year by Icon Structures, Inc. Big thanks to Olsson for the design!

A unique Air Tractor “Fire Boss” owned by Coastal Air Strike paid MHK a visit this morning. This aircraft can carry up to 800 gallons of water from natural resources such as lakes, rivers, and reservoirs.

The Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) has arrived at Manhattan Regional Airport. This mock airplane allows the Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters from Manhattan Fire to practice exterior and interior live fire drills. Check out a few pics from past training events.

Busy day on the ramp! An Airbus A320 joined an ERJ-190 this morning at Manhattan Regional Airport to take the KSU Rowing team to Florida. Good luck rowers at the Big 12 Championship! Go Cats!

The eastbound lane of South Airport Road will be closed until further notice from the 1700 block of Airport Road to Skyway Drive for emergency water main break repairs.
