Self-discipline isn’t and shouldn’t be self-suppression. Self-suppression is resisting our desires, keeping them unexpressed. Self-discipline is allowing your higher desires to rule your lesser desires not via resistance but via the action of choosing problems you enjoy solving

Ease will kill you more than hardship ever will. The reason why majority of us are so fucked over is because we have it too easy. We need struggle. We need physical activity. We need movement. We need work. Physical activity is subconscious therapy.

Everything can be an addiction. Choose the right addictions.

You may lie to everyone else, but never to yourself. The highest level of accountability should be for you, of you, and from you for 99% of everyone around you will almost never hold you accountable.
