Cricket: The Girls 1st XI beat St Joes today. Sophie S 3 wickets for 6. Charlotte J 2 wickets for 21. Millie MC 2 wickets for 11. Annie P and Annabelle R 1 wicket each. Well played all the girls. The U17 look forward to Thursday when they play Bede’s in the National QFs (away).

Cricket: Cricket wins! Great day out with the Boys u11 Team at the English Schools Cricket Association regional finals. Lots of fun, learning and amazing support!

Tennis: County Champions. Well done to our Mixed Under 8 Tennis team who today became County Champions with wins over OBH and Finborough. Thanks to Ipswich School for hosting.

Our Year 9 pupils experienced what it’s like to be on The Apprentice during our fantastic Enterprise Project Day! 📈💼 Pupils were tasked with creating a new innovative product, producing everything from a business plan to product design and filming their own advert.⭐

Tennis: It was county finals day for our U13 and U15 Tennis players last Friday. Well done to all players involved. Our U15 girls became county champions 🥇 whilst our U13 girls were🥈 and the U15 boys 🥉 . 👏

Tennis: The 1st team boys are warming up for day 2 of the ISTA National Championships at Eton School. A win yesterday against Berkhamsted means the boys are playing Rugby School this morning. Well done all.

Our incredibly talented Senior School pupils transported audiences into the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland during our fantastic Junior Production of Laura Wade’s, Alice! ⏰🐰🩵 A brilliant evening and wonderful performances from all! ⭐️🎭

Our Year 6 pupils had a brilliant day in the Senior School science labs! As part of Enrichment Week, they got hands-on during a physics workshop, testing objects against pressure and building their own rockets! 🚀⭐

It was a fantastic afternoon at the Prep School as our Year 8 pupils hosted their annual Summer Fete!☀️🎉 From pie throwing, soap football, bubble wrestling and more, everyone had a brilliant time with all the money raised going towards the Rogbonko School Trust in Sierra Leone💚

Athletics: Bay (Y6) competed at the Alexander Stadium, Birmingham representing the East Region in the Boys U12 1500m. It is the 50th anniversary of the National Prep School Athletics Championships. He came 5th in a new school record of 5:00.32. A fantastic effort!

Hockey: Anna C and Beth G are currently in Grenada Spain playing for England U18s. Today they helped the team beat Germany 2-1 in 38 degree heat. Well done girls.

Hockey: Georgie G (OF) scored England’s u21 first goal in the 8-1 win over Austria in the 1st match of the European Champs in Terrassa, Spain. Daisy F (OF) is also in the squad along with our very own Head of Hockey Mrs L (as Assistant) and 1st team coach Mr L (as Head Coach) 👏

Hockey: Fantastic news and well done to Anna C and Beth G (18s) achieving 🥉 beating Spain on shootouts. And well done to OFs Daisy F and Georgie G (21s) and coaches Mr L and Mrs L achieving 🥉 beating Germany 1-0. Some OF support in Molly R and Mrs C in the crowd. Well done all.

Hockey: The Girls 1st XI extended squad have had a busy first full day on their pre-season trip to Belgium ahead of the new term. Team building and basic principles work in the morning at WatDucks HC followed by game 1 v Leopold HC this afternoon. An amazing environment to be in.

Hockey: Update from Belgium. Awesome work at Koezio (a secret agent training course - through 4 districts). The girls were put into 6 teams. Districts: 1:memory & speed 2:speed & agility course through, over & around obstacles 3:mental agility testing 4:high ropes Winners tba

Rugby: Some fantastic positives to take from the 4 x 1st XV matches. Boys looking already in great shape and with further work this week - they look forward to Greshams Saturday. Some brilliant team work, support throughout and tries scored. Including some good pupil debriefs👏

Hockey: Update from Belgium. The Girls 1st XI squad played WatDucks HC this evening after an intense training session this morning. It was a fantastic game of Hockey! Well done all. Thank you so much for being amazing hosts WatDucks. It has been absolute brilliant. 🙏
