Happy to share our new paper out today in The EMBO Journal. We identify SNRPB as a new regulator of ER proteostasis. We show that SNRPB is induced by the UPR and regulates the splicing of ERES proteins (e.g. Sec16A), thus controlling ER export of collagen-I. embopress.org/doi/full/10.10…
#MembraneTrafficking seminars are back! Join Fèlix Campelo Francesca Bottanelli and me for an exciting lineup of speakers in our Sep-Dec '24 season. Fascinating science covering protein secretion, lysosome-secretory pathway crosstalk, lipid trafficking...
Want a non genetically-encoded probe to label the Golgi in imaging and #STED super resolution experiments? Check out the clever trick from the The Matile Group! Happy to have been able to contribute to this pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
New tools for Golgi imaging are on their way! You can now read the article by Saidbakhrom Saidjalolov, Luis Wong-Dilworth, and others from Francesca Bottanelli & The Matile Group labs about these great probes! doi.org/10.1021/jacsau…
Super cool to see our work with Christophe Leterrier out in Science Magazine 🥳 Check out how we combined super-resolution light microscopy and electron microscopy to visualize the endocytosis machinery at nanoscale resolution in neurons⚽️ science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
Great to finally see this online J Cell Science journals.biologists.com/jcs/article/13… I hope it is a great resource for everybody embarking in proximity labelling #masspec experiments! I promise all plasmids will be on Addgene in the next few weeks! Alexander Stockhammer Freund_Lab@FUB
.Alexander Stockhammer, Francesca Bottanelli and team present a TurboID knock-in approach for high-sensitivity endogenous interactome mapping. #OpenAccess #ReadAndPublish journals.biologists.com/jcs/article/13…
Loving this study by Ilya Levental on caveolins and the implications for membrane architecture generation.
