It seems like an uncharacteristically good time for joyous news on this app, so I wanted to share that my cat turned 18 this week

Since Edinburgh Napier University is part of the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research I thought I'd list how many SCCJR colleagues are going to present at British Society of Criminology Conference 2024, but it turns out that's over 70 people! So instead I will just post this link: sccjr.ac.uk

What a brilliant day at the British Society of Criminology Conference 2024 PGR conference: cutting edge research in a supportive environment, the chance to present with the brilliant Ben Collier, and second place in the crim pub quiz for our team, Paddy Quizyard and the Quiziologists 🏆

Two years ago I inadvertently took the longer road to Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE) by starting a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education. Was A TON of work, but I do think it made me a much better educator 🎓
