I spoke to a Tigrayan just today who said even if you do get money wired, there's often an Eritrean troop nearby to take it from you.

As Musk harps on about doxxing, remember that an Ethiopian university lecturer had his address posted on Facebook in October 2021 at the height of the Tigray conflict. The post was not removed and garnered 35,000 likes.

He was killed just weeks later.
