Recently there was talk on here about how emotions dull after your teens/early 20s. Well. I’m 33 and just got one of the biggest thrills of my life hearing my baby laugh at my singing, and then cried reading Thomas More’s Wikipedia page. Feels like the opposite is happening tbh.

BTW this isn't just a personal preference. I am objectively right to prefer my phone life this way. Being constantly connected, constantly distracted by dings and notifications, it's the reason we can't solve the climate change, it's the reason you can't sit through church.
