I can 100% see someone saying to me “But I spoke with Fr. Justin about this topic.” They already do that with websites like catholic.com that says civilly married people can be godparents. I trust Catholic Answers (use their stuff for OCIA) but not sure about this.

We had a fun day at school which means fun convos w/ Kindergartners. K: “Does God do magic?” Me: “He works miracles. K: “What’s a miracle?” Me: “Something great God does like when someone is healed.” Other K: “If a bug landed on the sun would it explode?” Me: “I guess so.”

We used the altar rails, finally, and it went surprisingly well! What’s even more amazing is that so many of them said after mass that they received their First Communion at those same rails about 60 or so years ago. So it reminded them of that! What a great gift!

Today is the first day of school. I had the joy of blessing the classrooms and students after the mass. I sit down in the principal’s office after and the power immediately shuts off. Not what I wanted to happen.
