Hearing Broward Sheriff Tony PhD. 'strongly suggested' 500 of his officers show up at the budget meeting tonight. They've increased their budget 8% every year. and now need an 'extra' $250 million to protect us by building a private health club for officers. It's only our money..

Table A-7 It's tough to go month to month on July vs August because of summer jobs. But over the past year: Employed: Foreign Born: +1.24 Million. Native Born: -1.32 Million.

Markets correctly decided the jobs report actually sucked. Manufacturing was hammered. Big uptick in servers (second jobs) Only about 15% of the construction jobs were housing, the rest civil engineering and green energy. (subsidized) Healthcare continues to lead.

This is the BLS 12 month Employment industry chart. All that talk about US Manufacturing, and we lost 14k manufacturing jobs over the last year. Healthcare is largely government backed, so is 80% of the construction. There has been almost no private sector growth..

I've been complaining about BLS revisions for years now. 7 months of reports. 6 have been revised lower. What are the odds?

There are lots of measures of unemployment. The most common one only counts people who have physically looked for a job in the last 4 weeks. U-6 Unemployment counts all people who would like to work, but aren't. Excluding covid, that number is now the highest since 2018.

A fair financial media would ask more questions about what happened to Manufacturing. It's not like they told us it was back or anything?
