The Multiflo FX and Cytation C10 are here 😍!!! Thanks to the #BioTek Agilent Technologies field application scientists (Deanna Leung on the Multiflo and Anh Truong on the C10) and sales team (Diana Bogorodskaya) for getting us set up for experiments and FUNR high-throughput days ahead!

We’d like to welcome our new research professional, Yvette Morales, a CSUEB alum and ecologist that trained with Professor Jenny Hazlehurst in Pollination Ecology. Yvette will be a fundamental founding member of the FUNR lab, and we are so glad she is joining us. Welcome Yvette!

🔬 Our first imaging day!!! Thanks to Anh Truong @Aiglent and Jeremy Rathfon and Jesus Guerrero NikonUSA for getting us fully set up, teaching us the theory, and helping us get our first micrographs of choanoflagellates and friends! 🚀

Thankful for the people I’ve met and lessons I’ve learned while launching @FUNRscience this year. The experience helped me grow as a scientist and even more importantly as a person. Despite all of the chaos (incld. on this bird app) I’m optimistic for 2023 & hope you are too 🥳🎉
