Great initiative and should not be limited to translational and clinical studies “Complex papers with large amounts of data are often convoluted, which can make them difficult to follow and to peer review rigorously”

A brave woman, who contrary to expectations succeeded to the highest ranks, exposes ugly aspects of academic research. The hope was that these traits are restricted to the business world, and would not contaminate to this extent the purest of human endeavours.

The most important reason to treat people well is not what you'll get in return. It's who you hope to become. Kindness is not about reciprocity or karma. It's about character. Civility doesn't need to be justified with consequences. Respecting others is the right thing to do.

The radial positioning of genomic loci, i.e. how far they are from the nuclear lamina has been associated with genome structure and function for several decades. But in genomics everything is correlated, e.g. radial positioning with genomic compartments with gene activity etc
