Yesterday, our eco club members at Bishop Stuart University and Mbarara University participated in a regional consultation meeting organized by UNDP Uganda in Western Uganda on biodiversity and Climate Change. The activity ended with a tree planting session joined by the ED of National Forestry Authority-Uganda 💚🍀🍃

Our Eco Club Members both from Makerere University and Ndejje University participated in an arts exhibition about African Identities. They discussed issues affecting us as a nation and of course climate change was one of them following the Kiteezi Landfill Tragedy.

The GAYO Eco-Club Campus Chapters (GECCC) Uganda today was privileged to meet with Youth Line Forum an eco feminist organization on discussions around the upcoming Green Future Leaders Summit in October. We look forward to further engagement and a potential partnership.
