After weeks of protesters requesting a meeting at the encampment to discuss demands for divestment from genocide, Sarah Hubbard, Regent @umich DID come to the encampment...only to take a new profile picture mocking the signs we made asking her to meet.

To be clear, when the University of Michigan regrants began sending groups of police officers to the homes of peaceful protestors, they absolutely lost the moral high ground on being upset about protest action at their own homes.

Sarah Hubbard, Regent @umich we know you’re deleting your tweets, but we have the receipts — instead of engaging with us on our demand for divestment from genocide, you’re smearing us publicly on Twitter? Excellent Regenting.

As a union, we are entitled to file info requests that help us enforce our contract. University of Michigan continues to deny us info that would help us protect grad workers against harassment, contract violations, & unfair legal charges. We demand transparency!

Over the last 3 weeks, our encampment has grown alongside our determination to demand an end to our university's complicity in genocide. Despite attempts from admin and the regents to scare us into packing up our encampment, we refuse to leave.
