Btw, I’m not totally out of market. For example I have a long going on QQQ bc I believe retail is fooled into β€œpeak inflation behind us”narrative. Just no new fiat. I also believe retail is out of crypto, why btc can’t break 25k. ETH outperforming due to 2.0 spec, will crash too.

Here’s my playbook for the new ppl here. My assumptions: Crypto is dead to retail rn, we will have lower lows (check my feed for why), I will go all in for generational buys when and only when FED announces QE. That’s the buy signal. Let me know if my posts have been helpful.

I’m now convinced new retail is completely out of crypto. Now we fully capitulate once long term hodlers forced to sell to pay for their mortgage/rent.

Serious question: Is anyone else concerned that crypto is so shit today while markets pumping? God help crypto longs once we really hit recession.

Thesis: This is relief rally due to ppl speculating peak inflation behind us. However oil up 5%, inflation is more durable, more rate hikes, stagflation, recession. Even w tech pump, btc v weak can’t get over 24k, when winter comes, Covid/energy risks, crypto falls off cliff.

Reminder: NDQ pumping and btc still can’t get over 24k. I don’t think ppl realize how low crypto can go in this cycle.

The fact that NDQ is up 1% and btc lingering at 23k shows you retail is no longer buying crypto. Only ones left are traders and hodlers who bought under 20k. If recession hits worse even hodlers will capitulate to preserve capital. Tell me why I’m wrong.

This bear market rally is under assumption peak inflation behind us (who cares about recession) but max pain is when markets realize it was never going to be this easy.

I find it concerning that btc still can’t get anywhere near or over 25k in biggest stock bear rally of the year. Remember, much of crypto (besides some small cap) totally crashed spring 2021 while stocks in bull. Makes me think if we truly hit deeper recession, it will be ugly.

Imo it’s clear that what drove last crypto bull run was greed/euphoria brought on by money printing & yield chasing from CEFI products. None of those are in place now, even if we have some nice bear rallies, ceiling for crypto is capped until QE. Way more downside than upside.

It’s interesting, s&p is about only 15% off ATH, while btc is down 67%. With huge market rallies, btc still in 23k range. With state of current market, btc may be too speculative for retail & has less upside than stocks but more downside rn. Goes for all crypto. Just a theory.

This is very true and it happened in an era of unprecedented money printing. So how tf are we ever gonna see ath any time soon again? Lol.

You need at least one bear cycle to understand anything in crypto. Next time around you take profits and your project continues mooning, you’ll be reminded of this time and be relieved you were able to take profits at all instead of punching the wall.

Yeah but we need them to push the price up. Otherwise it’s only traders and true believers. That’s not conducive to any kind of a bull run at its current market cap lol

I honestly feel for the plight of OkB holders, especially those who bought near the top. Influencers continue to ruin this space for the novice investor. There is absolutely no difference imo between OkB & great goats, except market timing & that doesn’t matter anymore
