One of my favorite internet stories: in 1994 Apple used the internal code name “Carl Sagan” for their new Power Mac 7100. Sagan threatened to sue. Apple changed the code name to BHA. When he found out it stood for “Butt-Head Astronomer” he sued them for libel (and lost).
