Since I opened our coworking space ~2.5 years ago, almost every office building nearby has opened flex/coworking in their buildings nearby.

The cat now makes massive squeaking noise every time she sneezes.

It only takes one turd in the pool to stop everyone swimming.

The most dangerous toxic employees are those that are seen to be ‘good at their job’:
- Replacing them is harder
- Weaponize their expertise
- Won’t take feedback

But go they must…

ideally out of a top floor window

Chance a meeting gets canceled…

Weather bad outside: 20%

Weather nice outside: 70%

Weather nice outside and it’s Summer: 99%

They’re somewhere in your company…

Notoriously hard to spot…

And, if tolerated, they can ruin your entire culture…

So here’s my guide to rooting out…

The Toxic Employee.

Toxic Employees *actively* undermine leadership and company culture.

But they’re tough to spot.

I don't know if your parents taught you this, but:

Just assume everyone online is lying to you.

Then, be pleasantly surprised when they tell the truth.

I'm thinking of joining the 'die with nothing' camp.

Too many generational wealth horror stories recently.

Easy wealth can cause as many problems as poverty.

Just different ones.

Something that feels like magic when I think about it.

Hire a great person:

$5k-10k or more a month in salary.

Lease a 3,500lb vehicle that almost drives itself:

$600 a month.
