My colleague Frank Caputo said it best. This was a colossal failure of our national security. If we have to rely on foreign intelligence to identify threats to Canadian lives, something has gone terribly wrong.

The timeline we were presented with, only 1 hour before yesterday's SECU meeting, was very troubling. The accused raised multiple red flags throughout the immigration process but was still granted citizenship. Canadians deserve to know how something like this could happen.

The accused ISIS terrorist went through 6 SECURITY CHECKS over multiple years and was still allowed to entry and citizenship. This government thinks their system is "robust" and working as it should. This colossal failure just doesn't add up.

It's now confirmed that a THIRD Canadian resident with connections to ISIS was arrested trying to enter the USA planning to commit a terror attack. Something in the Liberal's immigration system is clearly broken, and we MUST find out what it is before it's too late.

It was bad enough when 2 men with ties to ISIS were granted entry into Canada (one was granted citizenship), but now a THIRD suspect with ties to ISIS was granted access into Canada. The system is NOT working as intended and we need to find out why and fix it!

Once again, it was Canada's allies who alerted Canadian officials about another terrorist on Canadian soil. This can't keep happening. It is a pattern that must to be fixed.

Today marks 23 years since nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in what is now considered the deadliest terrorist attack in history. Please take some time today to remember the victims, and the families they left behind.

Immigration Minister Marc Miller confirms that Muhammad Shahzeb Khan, charged last week in an ISIS terrorism plot, entered Canada on a student visa in 2023. How many more like him are already in Canada, and what are you doing about it Minister?
