Turkey's aim to join BRICS is significant. This demonstrates that the economic bloc is asserting its influence on the international stage. For those who don't know, Turkey is a member of NATO.

Turkey has expressed interest in joining BRICS and is now in discussions with China about collaborating to develop a rare earth deposit within the country. Remember I said years ago the East will leverage commodities to combat a weaponized financial system? It is playing out.
