The Christmas lunch of the Bio-Engineered Nanophotonics group at IMDEA Nanociencia 🔬! Thank you Claudia and Gonzalo Pérez Serrano for the great "roscón de reyes" dessert! We will start next year with the same or even more strength than 2023!!!

At research institutes we don't do teaching. So, most likely, we don't revise basic theories. To overcome that gap, in our research group, we implemented the science day: a day to discuss about fundamental concepts. We study them and think about their use in our research.

This week, I visited Vedruna Carabanchel and IES GGM high schools to share my experience as a scientist. As part of the outreach of IMDEA Nanociencia 🔬 and Becas Fundación "la Caixa" for the #11F2024, I showed how facing challenges can shape your future and bring you to a place you never even dreamt of.

Our research group, #BioEngineeredNanophotonics, will be at the #MadridEsCiencia science fair next Thursday, March 8. We will show what photosynthesis is and our way of studying it. Do you want to play our simplifying photosynthesis game? Come and visit our stand! IMDEA Nanociencia 🔬

On Thursday, we visited Madridesciencia fair at IFEMA MADRID!! We showed a fun bubbling plant, the photosynthesis game with the steps for simplifying photosynthesis, and homemade solar cells! All based on the research we do at IMDEA Nanociencia 🔬!! We are the BioEngineered Nanophotonics group!

Our group made one year!!! I am really proud of all the team members. They put every day illusion into the projects we are developing, work in building a nice work environment and facing challenges together. Thanks to this team!!!

We celebrated the nanoscience day at IMDEA Nanociencia 🔬 for its 15 years of outreach!! Groups at Imdea presented their work in a very didactic way! Plus, the people had the chance to play with our photosystems design game!! We had a great time while learning from each other!
