Great to see our Sunflowers growing well in Will's Field.

Pi PiNNACLE crops starting to come in. With lots of pods and large seeds PiNNACLE is a conventional variety proving its value to the rotation.

This is a really cool display of how sunflowers get pulled by their big solar panel leaves towards the sun! even I didn't appreciate how quickly they moved back at night. Great video -Ed.

Grainseeds early varieties pollinating well! Maize is an excellent pollinator, a single maize plant can produce up to 25 million pollen grains in a day. Spread by wind this pollen only lasts a few hours. It is key that the corn cob silks below synchronise with pollination.

Charles tagg found time today to put the drone up over the sunflowers today! never seen such a beautiful sight in a field, 14 acres in the middle of a field of failed OSR, wished we’d had the confidence to put the full 36 acre of the field in !!
