Hedgehogs lived on Melton Fields in the hedgerow that has now been removed and destroyed by Amazon Wykeland Group with permission from East Riding Council to concrete it and build an unwanted Amazon warehouse. Where will nature live?

Massive beech tree collapses across main footpath in Sheffield's popular Graves Park ..... the result of long-term soil erosion, perhaps disease in the tree, & supersaturated soil meaning reduced traction on the steep slope. A recipe for problems. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

Sad to see the destruction of wildlife habitat at #MeltonFields the veteran oak in the middle of the field has been felled and most of the hedgerow removed. Hoping the veteran oak tree on the public open space survives. All so Wykeland Group can build an unwanted Amazon.co.uk warehouse😢
