Residents in Calgary and surrounding communities, fresh off having to conserve water for weeks due to a water main break, are soon going to have to do it all over again. READ MORE: trib.al/lS4qFLO trib.al/lS4qFLO

Is it getting real yet? Looks like the predictions were not so wrong after all. I wish they were…#climateEmergency cbc.ca/news/politics/…

A lot of climate inaction is rooted in our emotional response to #climateAnxiety - freeze, fight, or flight. So we do nothing (freeze), get angry (fight), or deny (flight). Acting means moving beyond this to logic - and pushing for change cbc.ca/news/canada/no…

EVs in #Alberta have less of an impact environmentally given our electricity network is powered by oil and gas, and those batteries need charging. More impact would be realized as more renewable energy comes on grid. #sustainability cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

I sure hope the province is also considering the water supply needed for cooling - AI uses a considerable amount of water - 500 mL for every 10-50 lines of AI code. While AB is energy rich, it’s water poor. ⁦⁦CBC Calgary⁩ cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

Looking at Calgary from Montréal thankful for the planned water supply redundancy that saved us this time from the large water main break but knowing there isn’t much more capacity if anything else happens.
