The other day, some friends visited my house and mentioned they had an empty wall they wanted to fill. I offered to print one of my artworks for them. They asked, "So what is it exactly that you do? How does it work?" "It's easier if I just show you..." I said. Two minutes

Made my first plot today 🤯 An early out-of-bounds test output with one of the palettes I contributed Minimizer’s SCRIBBLE TOGETHER.

I was so proud to be a part of Scribble Together that I just had to mint a few pieces at the end. Here is #409 with a palette I made titled "People Eater." I love how the green/purple seems to be swallowing up the fleshy pink. Nom nom nom 😋 #generativeart

This is the kind of use of AI I’m excited about: when it meets the human. Did you know the animator for Dory in Finding Nemo would work at their computer with a mirror attached to the side of their monitor so they could draw on their own, human expressions for the character?

Edition #410 from Scribble Together is close to my heart It features a color palette I wanted to make for a long time, "Wine-Dark Sea" — a reference to how Homer's writing contains no reference to the color blue. The palette was a perfect pairing for this super swirly output 🌊

Listen to kenny schachter. Markets go on. Mostly fueled by speculation. Propping up lots of truly irrelevant artists like all the ones mentioned in the article. Then markets correct disposing of them, finding new ones. Markets are really bad at discovering great important art early

Today is the day! Who’s ready to celebrate this wonderful project, and wonderful human, as we hit this big milestone. Hats off to everyone involved. And so excited to see a Squiggle in person at this important institution the next time I’m in LA.

New York art fair week is off to a great start. Monday night I went to Salon Zürcher. I was especially smitten by two young, French artists currently working in New York: Roxane Revon and Camille de Galbert 🔥 Revon's Palimpsest I & II (2024) are works on paper that include

Super amazing course that Ilithya has built. If you're at all interested in learning to move millions of pixels around the screen at once (something p5 can struggle with) then definitely check out the live stream and consider picking up the course 🔥

Last week I went to six art fairs and two openings. Over the week I saw every booth, thousands of pieces of art. There were even a handful of works on screens. But the only generative art I saw was on one wall of the Taschen booth to celebrate their book On NFTs. Our space needs
