Phagenyx is for your sensory neurogenic dysphagia patients; the ones with silent aspiration, or awful management of secretions. The ones who don't attempt to clear residue spontaneously. The ones who previously we had very limited treatments options for. Now we can treat them.

Why are we still seeing the phrase 'no rehabilitation potential' in Stroke services discharge reports? It's there in black and white - SLTs, if you don't feel the individual is able to engage in impairment based therapies, offer something else...CPT, education, suppport, AAC...

Thoroughly loved our IDDSI cooking and food preparation workshop with the wonderful @oakhousekitchen as part of my time on the #sheffielddysphagiacourse .It’s really opened my eyes to how much demand we place on our patients when we modify their diets! (+ V tasty cheesecake!!)

Really enjoyed testing out Biozoon UK and realising what a simple and cost effective way it is to afford our patients, who may be NBM, the pleasure of taste and increase their QoL. #biozoon #mysltday
