Gracie is officially a Therapy dog with St John Ambulance! 🚑🐾

Today we had the honour of St. John Ambulance therapy dog program come in to explain what the program is all about! We finished it off with presenting our donation of $500 to the program, raised by our students! Huge shoutout to our grade 5 group of girls who initiated this 🎉🐾

GIRLS at BAT🧢was a beautiful day of laughter, teamwork and love 💙🙌🏼⚾️ SO beyond proud of these girls and their dedication to the sport and team! WAY TO GO!!! GA ALLLLL DAY! ⚾️

Last week the Girls at Bat team went to see a BLUE JAYS GAME ⚾️ in Toronto!!! We had a BLAST!! We got to see a home run and they won!! 🥇

Many of our young people are coming from homes with chronic stress and wired for survival first and not learning. This alters their brain functioning and requires a bottom - up approach to learning. Regulate, relate, then reason.🧠🌱
