Fourth quad scrimmage last night at Perry with Meadowbrook & Vermillion. Due to late start, varsity split with Perry (no time for third) and beat Meadowbrook & Vermillion. JV won all three matches. Freshman split tri scrimmage at home with Perry & Vermillion. Great job!!!

Fifth quad scrimmage last night at Jackson with Marlington & Tusky Valley. Five quads in twelve days... A lot of work in a short time. Finished strong across the board!!! It's time for the season to begin! Great work & outstanding effort!!!

The volleyball team held a car wash at Chilis today. Washed a lot of cars, had a lot of fun, and took some time to reload before the first match on Tuesday. Thanks to Chilis in Montrose for hosting!

Last night, Hoban volleyball held Volley for the Cure to recognize survivors and members of the Hoban family as the Hoban family came together in showing support. Volleyball completed a sweep over Beamont for the third consecutive sweep.

Hoban volleyball fell just short to Bay today 14-16 in the fifth set. They gave 100% and couldn't have been asked for more effort, hustle, drive, passion... This is an outstanding team and were led by an special group of seniors. Thanks for commitment. You will be missed!!!

Congratulations to Amber Watson for being nominated for the Greater Akron-Canton High School Sports Awards for Girls Volleyball Player of the Year! The winner will be announced on 6/21 during a live show at the Akron Civic Theatre.
