Massive thank you to Andi Brierley for his discussion of our ADR UK policy briefing published last week. Claire Fitzpatrick and I wanted the briefing to highlight system failures, as opposed to individual-level issues, and to reiterate that over-representation is not inevitable.

Good to see this question was asked by Janet Daby MP. Remand is hugely problematic. If children on custodial remand were released and alternatives put in place, children’s custody numbers would nearly halve Centre for Young Lives MetroPolis
