EVENTS CANCELLED Very sadly we've had to cancel tomorrow's (30.12) and our New Year's Day parkruns due to a waterlogged course. We hope you all have a great New Year and 🤞we'll see you back at Horspath very soon.

EVENT CANCELLED We're really sorry but we need to cancel this Saturday (6.1) again. The course is still very waterlogged. With a drier week forecast next week, we're hopeful we'll be back on the 13th but we'll keep you updated. Hope you all have a good week in the meantime.

EVENT CANCELLED 17.2.24 We're so sorry as we know many of you rely on us to start your weekend off in the right way, but we have to cancel again tomorrow. There's still standing water in some areas of the course. As soon as we can, we'll be back up and running.

EVENT CANCELLED (24.2) We're very sorry to report that we're cancelled again this week. We've never seen the course this wet. The likelihood is we need a prolonged dry period before we can run again but we'll keep you updated. Anyone for parkcanoe?!

EVENT CANCELLED (2.3) In the least surprising news since someone said parkrun was the best way to start your Saturday, we're cancelled again this week 😩 BUT it is looking much better than last week so 🤞we might be back soon.

EVENT CANCELLED (9.3 and 16.3) You've guessed it! We're cancelled again this week and next. The course is still too wet and next week there is an event on the course involving a very large 🎪. BUT things are improving and we're really hopeful we'll be back on the 23rd 🤞

EXCITING NEWS!!! We are back tomorrow!! The course has dried out enough (although it’s still muddy!) and the big tent has gone. To go ahead we need some more hi-viz heroes so if you can help please let us know. See you tomorrow!!

EVENT CANCELLED (29.3) We're crying into our very soggy grass and wet feet. It was brilliant to see you all last week but this week's ongoing heavy rain has left the course saturated and unusable again (unless you're a 🦆). So we've had to cancel. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

EVENT CANCELLED (6.4) We are sooo bored of having to say this but I’m afraid the course is still flooded/saturated/underwater and so we’ve had to cancel again this Saturday 😩😩😩

In a momentous event which puts the total solar eclipse firmly in the shade, WE ARE ON THIS SATURDAY (13.4)!!! The course has dried out well so bring your running, jogging, walking, dancing, hopping, skipping, jumping or volunteering shoes and we'll see you there!! #loveparkrun

Hi everyone! Just to confirm we are currently going ahead tomorrow. But we'll be there early for our usual course check and let you know if we need to cancel given all the rain today. 🤞for no more rain overnight.

Thank you for following the instructions so well on the altered course today. We know it was a bit of a squeeze on the path and it probably made the course a little long. Our usual route wasn't safe and we thought that was better than cancelling. 🤞back to normal next week!
